Sydney & Shane’s Boho-Chic wedding had everything you could ask for! Blue skies, gorgeous sunset, family, friends… and… Fire?!?! More about that later! Seriously though, the day was picture perfect and I could not be happier for them.
The Wedding Day
The day began at Sydney’s aunt’s home. The girls got ready there and then it was time to go The Wedding Barn for the ceremony! The barn was decorated beautifully by [insert name of decorator] in a Boho-Chic wedding style that was absolutely gorgeous. The florals and bouquets were provided by Seche Florals and they were stunning. I cannot rave enough about the theme of this wedding. The neutral color scheme allowed the wedding party to truly stand out. Sydney and Shane opted not to have a first look, he wanted to ensure he first saw her as she walked down the aisle. I could see him getting more and more excited as each bridesmaid walked down the aisle. Of course, once Sydney and her father appeared, he broke into a smile and finally breathed. Under a simple, Boho-Chic inspired arbor, Sydney and Shane said their vows and became husband and wife.
The Reception
After the ceremony, everyone was seated inside the barn for their meal, speeches and games. The reception started off with a bang when the bride’s beautiful boho-chic bouquet got a BIT too close to a candle and burst into flames! Thankfully, a quick thinking guest grabbed it and put the fire out before it spread. Wow! Talk about adding a different type of excitement to a wedding day!!! Once the speeches were complete, it was time for the first dance as husband and wife. The joy on their faces was clear to see and it makes me so happy to share in these moments with my couples. Then, it was time to PARTY!!! The DJ started playing and the dance floor filled. I have to say this was a good group for a dance. Everyone was having a great time! Sydney and Shane decided they wanted to do a sparkler exit before the of the night. Friends and family gathered around them with sparklers, officially sending them off into married bliss! It was magical and oh, so, romantic!
I’m so happy for Sydney and Shane. I couldn’t have dreamt up a more perfect day if I tried. Thank you both for allowing me to be a part of your wedding day. Here’s to many years of wedded bliss, Cheers!!
