After almost 3 years of being with Catherine, Steven knew he had to make her his forever. He couldn’t have picked a better scene in which to propose. He and Catherine went for a walk by a lake in Alberta, Canada. The lake was a beautiful glowing blue, like Catherine’s eyes, the mountains visible in the distance and elk wandering nearby. There, surrounded by the wonder that is nature, Steven got down on one knee and asked Catherine if she would marry him. Her answer, of course, was a resounding YES! I had the pleasure of meeting Catherine and Steven for the first time during their engagement session. Their chemistry is palpable. The way they look at each other, is like no one else exists. I have a strong feeling that these two will be happy for a very, very long time. I cannot wait to photograph their backyard wedding in July 2017!
